Under general supervision, the Product Support Representative provides technical assistance and problem resolution to DMP dealers through any supported means of communication.  Our analysts use their strong technical aptitude and positive customer relationships to make 'Raving Fans' of our dealers by accurately answering technical questions pertaining to our electronic security products; AND you'll go home daily feeling good about what we're doing as a company to save lives.

  • Answer technical questions on programming and troubleshooting through any means of communication.
  • Continues learning through hands on and online learning management system when not answering calls.
  • Develops knowledge of security industry and its products through dealer interaction and industry trade publications.
  • Protects operation by keeping information confidential.
  • Observes company policies. Continuously strives to find processes that create improved efficiency while maintaining conformance to requirements.
  • May perform other duties or fill in for others in the department or other departments when requested. May train or instruct fellow workers regarding own duties. Job duties are subject to change as directed by Management.
  • Verifies answers are correct by testing or checking documentation.
  • Finds solutions, does not leave callers without a resolution or steps to resolution.
  • Makes customers and their needs a primary focus of their actions; developing and sustaining productive customer relationships.
  • Handles calls related to products manufactured or sold by DMP.
  • Demonstrates job excellence by taking detailed notes of everything that happens during their calls
